He wanted a democratic form of Government.Islam is against democracy.It is Mogal rule which totally annihilated Buddhistic Religious and Educational Institutions. so Mr.Ambedgar considered Islam as evil and embraced Buddhism which is a renaissance movement of Hinduism.
